​What is a graph?

​It represents a set of objects where links connect some pairs of things.

​It is used to communicate information visually.

​It is used in students, books, newspapers, magazines, geography and business.

​Types of graphs:

In this lesson, we will learn three types of charts.​

1. ​Line Graphs.

2. ​Bar Graphs

3. ​Pie Charts

​1. Line Graph:

​It shows how something changes over time.

​It has two axes:

​Horizontal Axis and Vertical Axis

​The Horizontal Axis has things to be measured while the Vertical Axis has numbers.

​2. Bar Graphs:

This bar also has two axes but uses bars instead of a line.

​It is used to show changes in data over years, weeks or days.

​It is also used for comparison items or objects.

​3. Pie Chart:

​It looks like a pie.

​it is divided according to the percentage.

​It cannot show changes over time but shows the percentage of a whole set a certain point in time.
