​† The Catholic Church is the world largest religious group.

​† There are more than 1 billion Catholics worldwide.

​† Catholics base their beliefs on the Christian Bible.

​

​† They believe that Jesus was the son of God.

​† Catholics generally take part in a service called 'Mass' on Sunday mornings. Here they pray to God, Jesus and other saints.​

​​† When a baby is born in a Catholic family, the parents usually get it 'baptized'. This is the first step for every Catholic. It's like a "ticket" to enter the religion.

​​† They also perform rituals like "Confession" where they confess to the priest everything they have done wrong and ask for forgiveness.
