​Derivatives in Listening

In listening tasks, the questions often contain slightly different wording from what the speakers actually say.

One example of this is the use of derivatives (different forms of a word).

Derivaties are often used to rephrase what the speaker says in listening tasks.

Therefore it’s useful to be able to recognise words in their different forms quickly.
