​Plagiarism the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

​Although this has a few words changed, this is still considered plagiarism.

• ​In the world of education, self-plagirism, or auto-plagiarism is a thing. This happens when you take something else you submitted and turn it in instead of writing from scratch. ​

• ​Simply put, it is implied that when you create assignments it is not recycled work.

​Mosaic or patch Plagiarism

​Patch Plagiarism is when someone adds, deletes and reorders different words an author used and passes it off as their own.

​Bonus: Unauthorized group work

​You must ask for permission to work with another student on an assignment. Students who have duplicate assignments will both receive a grade of 0, despite who turned it in first.
