For Windows-based Computers (below Windows 10)

• Click the Start button on bottom left of the task bar .

• Locate and Right-Click “Computer” 

  or “My Computer” from the menu.

• Click “Properties”

• You’ll notice the OS version 

  (Windows 7, XP, 8, etc…) 

  and Service Pack version.

For Windows 10 & 11

• Click on the Magnifying Glass icon at bottom right next to the Windows Start icon.

• Type “Winver” command in the Search field at bottom.

• Run Command.

• Find the Version and Build Number.

For Mac

• Open Finder.

• Click the apple icon on 

  the top menu bar.

• Select “About This Mac.”

• Find the Window that appears 

  with MacOS version and version number.
