Training is the process of improving a person’s knowledge and skills for present tasks. 

Development is the process by which a person obtains skills and experience.

A.  Change In Attitude

When an employee is equipped with the right skills and knowledge, there will be improvements in their work attitude.  

One has to constantly update one’s knowledge to remain relevant and perform their job task well. 

Skills must be updated through training to ensure that technological advances are successfully integrated into the organisation. 

Training improves individual, team and corporate performance in terms of output, quality, speed and overall productivity.  

Practice increases a learner’s performance.  

Training and re-training can meet the manpower needs of the organisation’s existing and new posts

Training enables an employee to acquire the skills needed for a promotion 

Eases the transition from the employee’s present job to one involving greater responsibilities.
