Capitalization Rules

first and last names (Mary Brown, Tom, Meg)

places like towns, cities, countries (Bog Walk, Kingston, Jamaica)

businesses (Juici Patties, Scotiabank)

brands (Samsung, Adidas, Apple)

other specific names

Every word in the title needs to have a capital letter unless the word is "a", "and", "the", "in", or "of".

Examples:

- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse

- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Examples:

- I'm the video game boy!

- School was let out early today.

- Blue is my favorite color!

Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica

Cuban, Haitian, Jamaican

Spanish, French, English

Examples:

- He was born on a Monday.

- My favorite month of the year is April.

- I got to visit my aunt last Christmas.

No matter what you MUST capitalize the pronoun "I" whenever it is used by itself.

Examples:

- I went to the store.

- Can I have $5 for the bus?

- My dad and I walked to school.
