Heading
Greeting
Body
Closing
Signature

Heading:
The heading is where you would include the writers address
Including the address is important so they know where the letter is coming from.
Having this address also gives the person you are writing to an opportunity to write back to you.

Greeting
This is a way to begin your letter.
This shows who your letter is being addressed too.
Different greetings may include the following: "Dear" "To Whom it May Concern", "Good Morning", "Greetings"

Body
This is where you write your personal message.
You can include as many body paragraphs as you feel necessary in your letter.

Closing
This is a way to end the letter
It usually thanks the reader or gets ready to introduce the reader to whomever wrote the letter.
Some ways to close your letters are: "Sincerely", "Best Regards", "Yours Truly" and "With Appreciation".

Signature
This is where the writer signs their name so the writer knows who the letter is from
This is usually done in cursive if it is a hand written letter

Capitalization
It is important to know where you need capital letters in your writing.
When writing your Heading, you should be capitalizing appropriate things in your address such as your street name, state and the name of the month.

It is important to capitalize the first letter of each work in your Greeting.
Capitalize each word in your Closing
Capitalization the first letter of your first and last name in your signature
