Past simple and past continuous

 > It is used to talk about finished actions from the past.
> Make sure to use expressions like:last Friday, yesterday, last year, the day before yesterday, in 2000...

They are the forms the verbs are going to be categorized in the past tense

> Regular verbs usually are going to be ending in -ed.

> Irregular verbs are verbs that are going to change totally partially or nothing when used in past tense.

>Actions from the past in a specific time.

> we can use the past continuous for the background of a story.

>An action in the past which overlaps another action or a time

> It is formed by the past form of the verb be + an action verb+ing
