What do you need to know about Ratios?

They are a comparison of 2 quantities.
Types: Part to Part or Part to Whole/Whole to Part
Formats: Fraction form, Word form, Colon form
ORDER MATTERS!

What are equivalent ratios?

Equivalent ratios are equal in value.
You can use multiplication or division to find equivalent ratios.
Think of them as equivalent fractions.
$\frac{5}{7}=\frac{15}{21}$ $\frac{30}{42}=\frac{5}{7}$
