The sum of the three interior angles of any triangle is 180 degrees.

Scale Factor: The number by which side lengths of a polygon are multiplied to produce a second, similar polygon

Hypotenuse: The longest side of a right triangle

Obtuse: An angle which is greater than 90 degrees

Obtuse triangle: Has one angle which is obtuse

Acute: An angle which is less than 90 degrees

Acute triangle: All angles in the triangle are acute

Scalene: All sides of the triangle are different lengths

Isosceles: Exactly two sides of the triangle are the same length

Equilateral: All three sides of the triangle are the same length
