When an ice cube melts, it forms water, which is liquid

Liquid:

A substance that has a definite volume but does not has a definite shape

If you are pouring a liquid from a bowl into a tall glass, its shape changes totally, it takes the shape of the inside of the cup.

Liquids take the shape of the container. and the volume stays the same

Liquids can flow from one place to another unless there is something to hold them.

for example: the water in the waterfall rushes down, because there is nothing to stop it.
