​Noun :

​

​people : Ahmad ,the man, the girls..etc.

​subject pronouns: I, He, She, It, You, We, They.

​Things: the car, the tables..etc.

​Places: Italy, Rahat , School..etc.

​Verb

​1. Action verbs: eat, drink, play ..etc.

​

​2. Helping verbs (verb to be):

​present - am, is, are

​

​past- was. were

​

​Future- will be

​Rest of sentence:

​1. Object : noun

​

​2. Adjective: beautiful, big, huge..etc.

​

​3. Adverb: quickly, slowly ..etc.

Parts of a paragraph

1. Topic sentence:

It states the main idea of a paragraph.

2. Supporting sentences:

* They support the topic sentence.

*They explain the main ideas.

*They give details relating to the main idea.

3. Closing Sentence:

It restates or sum up the main idea.

Describe a place

London is a city with many faces. It is home to some of the world's richest people, to kings and queens, and to people with little or no money. There are old buildings and new buildings. You can eat English food all day or you can eat food from other countries. There are a lots of cars, a lot of shops- and a lot of people. Life in London is not always easy, but it is never boring. Dr Johnson was right " When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life".

Parts of a paragraph

1. Topic Sentence :

The Writing Process

1. Prewriting:

-Brainstorm and organize ideas.

* Think about what do you want to say. Then create a plan to organize your ideas.

* Select key ideas and questions to get you started.

2. Drafting:

- Use ideas to write a rough draft.

* Write your ideas in order, and choose one or more to start your writing.

* Use your choices to develop a main idea, supporting details, and the body of your writing.

3. Revising:

- Make changes to improve writing.

* Rearrange words and sentences to clarify meaning. Be sure to add descriptive words and details.

* Include feedback from peers or teachers.

4.Editing:

- Proofread and correct mistakes.

* Check for complete sentences, proper spelling, and correct grammar.

* Reread, or have someone else read your writing to be sure it is interesting and makes sense.

5. Publishing:

- Write and present final copy.

* Prepare a final edited draft of the writing.

* Choose a form in which to present your writing and share it with other.
