Present Simple and Present Continuous

Present Simple

We use the simple present tense when an action happens every day. eg. I study English / She studies English.
When it happens regularly. eg. He helps people at work everyday.
-S or -ES to the verb to the end

Present Simple (Keywords)

In general (regulary, often, never)
always, normally, usually, sometimes
seldom, never.
eg. She works in a restaurant every morning.
The following verbs are usually only used in Present Simple:
be, have, hear, know, like, love, see, smell, think, want.

Present Continuous

This verb tense indicates that an action or condition is happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future.
The Present Continuous Formula: to be + verb + ing
I am learning English at UPN Morelia.
