Volume of Cones

This lesson has been assigned in "Homework Mode." If you don't finish it in one sitting, you can always back out and revisit it.

In this lesson, you will be using the formula for the volume of a cone. A cone's volume is less than that of a cylinder with the same radius and height.

In fact, the cone's volume is one third the size of a cylinder with the same radius and height.

On the next slide, you will see the formula for the volume of a cone. It should look very similar to that of the cylinder, just multiplied by 1/3!
