Step-3: Revise
Rearrange/Remove: Consider the flow and sequencing of your story. Sometimes you will need to eliminate passages that don't quite fit.
Edit: check for repetition, clarity, grammar, spelling and punctuation
Re-Word: strengthen your word choice, no things and stuff
Show don't tell

Step-4: Peer Edits/ Conference
Peer Edit: The most effective way to measure your descriptions and imagery is to ask for a second opinion. Ask friends or fellow writers to take a look and give you feedback.
Give positive and specific feedback
Offer suggestions and possibilities
Look at ideas and details in the writing

Step 5: Proofreading/ Peer Edit
-Make improvements based on advice given to you in conferencing
-Make changes to grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling
Check line spacing, headers, and margins
