Regrouping

Regrouping is when you are adding and you have a number that is ten or more when you are adding you are going to regroup that number to the next place value

The reason it was 141 is because 3+8 is greater than the number 10 so you had to regroup the number 11.

You are probaly wondering how can you regroup the number 11. You have to subtract 10 from the 11 and leave the and regroup to the next place value.
