การร้อยเรียงถ้อยคำให้เป็นประโยคในภาษาไทย
การร้อยเรียงถ้อยคำในภาษาไทยทําได้ 2 ลักษณะ คือ
1. เรียบเรียงเป็นร้อยแก้ว เริ่มจากประโยค เป็นย่อหน้า เป็น เรียงความ บทความ การเรียบเรียงร้อยแก้ว ใช้ความรู้การเรียงคำและประโยคตามหลักภาษาศาสตร์
2. เรียบเรียงเป็นร้อยกรอง การเรียบเรียงเป็นร้อยกรองต้องใช้ความรู้เรื่องฉันทลักษณ์ของโคลง ฉันท์กาพย์หรือ กลอน เป็นต้น ซึ่งมีจํานวนคํา ลักษณะคํา และสัมผัส ต่างกัน

การใช้ความรู้ด้านหลักภาษาไทยหรือหลักภาษาศาสตร์ เรียบเรียบคำเป็นประโยค
ประโยค คือ กลุ่มคําที่เกี่ยวของกันเป็นระเบียบและมีเนื้อความ บริบูรณ์โครงสร้างหลักของประโยคประกอบด้วยภาคประธานและ ภาคกริยา

ประโยคออกเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ
- การแบงประโยคตามโครงสร้างเนื้อความ
- การแบงประโยคตามเจตนา

การแบ่งประโยคตามโครงสร้างเนื้อความ ออกเป็น 3 ชนิด ได้แก่
1 . ประโยคความเดียว (เอกรรถประโยค)
2. ประโยคความรวม (อเนกรรถประโยค)
3. ประโยคความซ้อน (สังกรประโยค)

การแบ่งประโยคตามโครงสร้างเจตนาของผู้พูด แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ชนิด ได้แก่
แจ้งให้ทราบ
เช่น นักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาตินิยมเดินทางไปจังหวัดภูเก็ต
บอกให้ทำ
เช่น หยิบจานมาใบ,คุณช่วยหาหนังสือเรื่องนี้ให้ด้วยนะครับ
ถามให้ตอบ
เช่น พรุ่งนี้โรงเรียนหยุดหรือไม่
