What are sanitary codes, and why do cities need them?

Sanitary codes are a set of government rules put in place to make sure that cities are safe and clean to ensure good health for citizens.

Create a list of rules that will keep cities safe and clean (At least 3 things).

We are living through arguably the worse pandemic in American history (Covid-19). To help prevent spreading the virus people are asked to do three simple things (Wash hands, wear a mask, and social distance). Do you think these three precautionary measures would have helped prevent the spread of diseases in cities during the Industrial Revolution? Explain your answer.
