Setting your Goals

  • Goals can be related to your character (work on patience), personal goals (learn a new skill), or school goals (pass all your classes).

  • Take a minute and think about some goals you have for yourself this semester.

Open Ended

W= Wish: What do you wish to achieve?

Open Ended

O= Outcome: What would happen if you achieved your goal? How would you feel? How would it make you better?

O= Obstacles: What obstacles do you think you will face? Ex. motivation, lack of focus, etc.

P = Plan: What is your plan? What will you do in order to achieve your goal? List as much as possible.

Accountability

Now tell your parent/guardian your goal and ask that they hold you accountable. Accountability is key if you want to achieve your goal.

  • Do something nice for somebody this week.
