Reminder: In Spanish, adjectives match the gender and number of the nouns they describe

 the adjective usually comes after the noun

Adjectives that end in -e match both gender  ej: El maestro inteligente 

Many adjectives that end in a consonant match both genders  ej: El amigo joven 

Definite articles (in English, the) are used with nouns to indicate specific persons, places or things

Indefinite articles (a, an) are used with nouns to indicate nonspecific persons, places or things

To form the present tense of a regular verb that ends in -ar, drop the -ar and add the appropriate ending.
