Plastic
Come in many different types, with different properties. Some are flexible, lightweight and easily shaped.

Is transparent and translucent. It is hard but very brittle. It can be coloured.

Can be natural (made from cotton or silk) or synthetic (made from other chemicals). Are tiny threads so they can be strong and bendy

Can withstand high temperatures. They are hard, brittle and very strong. Are used for floor tiles, sinks, bowls, cups and plates.
