Native Americans opposed the idea of moving west and resisted the United States.

People continued to immigrant from other countries into America.

Many Immigrants were attracted to the West because of free land.

When immigrants moved to America, many of them ended up working in factories.

But this caused cities to become overcrowded and houses were also crowded.

The railroad had a huge effect on migrating west.

The railroad caused many cities that were near railroads to become economic hubs for America.

The railroad also had a negative impact where bison populations were depleting.

This invention is used on farms.

It is used for the purpose of gathering water.
