We found out quite a bit about Montag and his situation.

We will be discussing potential themes of this section. So, let's begin.

Here is the low-down
At the beginning- Montag felt in control. He had shown Mildred the books, but he was just curious.
In the middle- Montag started to believe something could change. He met with Faber and started to believe things could change IF the plan worked.
In the end- Beatty has had the talk with Montag about certainty vs. uncertainty. Montag's secret is out in a big way.

Montag is going through a change.
In our EdPuzzle, we discussed how when someone has a revelation about something in their life and others don't there is often a disconnect between them and the people around them.

While some may be encouraging of your change, others may not. In Montag's case, he was going against the grain by having his revelation.
