A német nyelvben fordítva írják a számokat. Először kezdik a végével, s utána mondják az elejét.

Például: FÜNF (öt) + UND (és) + ZWANZIG (húsz) = FÜNFUNDZWANZIG (huszonöt)

Tehát a német, ha azt akarja mondani, hogy 25, azt mondja, hogy öt és húsz.
