They were great traders that used their advanced knowledge of ship building in order to trade goods and move all over the Mediterranean Coast

Covered areas from the Middle East to North Africa to Europe

Great sailors-Navigated the coastline by using landforms as markers as well as using the stars

The Greeks adopted a 24 letter alphabet from Phoenician traders that traveled all over the Mediterranean coast, (Many of our English letters/sounds/root words come from Greek)
