Dialogue: Quotation Marks
Dialogue is when one or more character's are talking out loud.
In a comic book we would use dialogue boxes (see picture)
Quotation marks show us exactly what a character is saying.
Mr. Lemoi says, "These two little lines are called quotation marks. Use them so you know when characters are speaking."

Show us WHO is speaking and HOW they are speaker
Mr. Lemoi whispered, "Why am I whispering?"
"Because I don't want to yell all the time," Mr. Lemoi explained.
"BUT SOMETIMES" Mr. Lemoi shouted, "I DO LIKE TO SHOUT!"
You know who is speaker (Mr. Lemoi) and how he is speaking (whispering, explaining, shouting).
