Decimal and Real Number System Review

All integers are rational (can be written as a fraction) and cannot have decimals

Natural and Whole numbers cannot be negative 

Decimals that terminate (end) or have a repeating pattern are rational 

Decimals that go on forever with no repeating pattern are irrational

ALL NUMBERS ARE REAL 

If it has a "-ths" at the end, the place value is to the right of the decimal (smaller values)

You round by looking to the number to the right of the place value that you're rounding. If that number is 5 or greater, the place value you're rounding rounds up! If not, it stays the same number.
