SHOP SAFETY TEST

Running in the shop is not allowed.

If you find anything wrong with the tools or equipment in the shop report it at once to the instructor.

Never wear loose clothing while operating any machinery with moving parts.

Clean up grease, oil, and liquid spills immediately.

It is okay to leave oil spills on the benches, tables or the ground.

Electrical equipment should be grounded through the ground wire (3 prong plug) unless its double insulated (plastic shell).

Always work in your assigned area with safety glasses on.

Never leave tools lying on the floor or in an aisle. Keep them toward the center of a table / work place or put away when finished.

All students must know the location of the first aid equipment.

Rotating or moving parts must have a safety guard in place before operation.
