Choose the correct text structure for the paragraph: Students who are frequently absent often have lower average grades than those who have good attendance. When they are out of the classroom, students do not get to see a teacher’s lessons. Even if they attend extra help, it’s usually much shorter and less detailed than the actual lesson. In addition, frequently absent students often miss tests or other assignments and don’t always make up the work.

Ice-cream is a delicious frozen treat that comes in a many different colors and flavors. Two of my favorite flavors are strawberry and chocolate. Though both of these flavors are delicious, strawberry may contain pieces of fruit while chocolate usually will not. Even though more chocolate ice-cream is sold across the country annually than strawberry, each flavor tastes great inside of a milk shake.

Money has changed over time. First people used to trade or barter when they wanted something. Then, people began using items to act like currency. For example, the ancient Mayans used to use chocolate as money. Next, people created coins to be used as money. This made currency more standard, but it weighed a lot. Later, paper money was used. Today many people pay for things with a credit card.

Lauren does chores each Saturday. First, she folds the laundry and puts it away. Then she sweeps and mops the kitchen floor. After that, she empties all the garbage cans and recycling. When all her chores are done, she gets to go outside and play.

Next time you are thirsty, try drinking a glass of water instead of a soda. Although both will quench your thirst, soda is full of sugar and chemicals. Water, on the other hand, is a much healthier choice.
