A symbolic interactionist theory states there can be no purpose in social life without a

symbol.

A functional analyst believes for a society to function well there is no need for different

sections in the society to have separate roles.

In every society there will be many smaller groups. These groups will compete for the

resources available. This is called the deviance theory.

The culture in an origin society has much control over individual behaviour even when

interacting with other society.

A group may exist within a mainstream society. This group may also resist the culture in the main stream society. This is called subculture.

The influence of technology on culture has made it easy for us to become familiar with other cultures in the world.

Socialization with the society is strictly through our behaviors alone only.

Our personality is uninfluenced by the way we interact with society.

The way we understand how a gender should socialize in a society is very much influenced by the school we attend.
