Always start off by washing your hands with soap.

Place your scrub brush into a bowl and pour 100 % to 90 %

Isopropyl Alcohol over it until the brush is sanitized, then use it to

clean other tools.

Add detergent soap to your brush and use it to scrub your nail

clippers, metal nail file and other nail care tools.

Rinse off the tools with hot water until all the soap is gone.

Place your nail clippers, metal nail file and other nail care tools into a clean

bowl.

Keep of sanitizing solution and used towels.

Saturate a cleaning cloth with disinfectant solution and wipe entire surface area

of equipment.

Remove the tools/implements from solution, wipe them dry, and place them

into a dry sterilizer.

Allow them to sit in the solution for about 20 minutes.

Make sure that the client’s safety and comfort is ensured by using tools

and equipment which are in good condition and that he/she is provided with

the appropriate personal protective clothing.
