color: purple, begins on Ash Wednesday, we sacrifice as Jesus did, don’t eat meat on Fridays, and celebrate Stations of the Cross.

color: red, preparing for Easter, celebrating Jesus’ Suffering, Death, and Resurrection, celebrate Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil, the Last Supper
