Grade 4 Unit 4 Review (Tempo and Texture)

Dynamics and Tempo are used to express the interpretation of a musician.

Tempo comes from the German word “Temper” which means “time”.

The speed of music is called the Tempo.

Tempo markings can sometimes be seen at the end of the piece.

The dynamic marking Largo roughly translates into “broad” which means the music will be played fast.
