Make all adjustments with the power

How high do you adjust the blade guard above the highest part of the object being cut.

How close can your fingers or any part of your body or item of clothing get to the blade.

You should force the material through the blade.

You should always use a push stick.

Let the blade do the work, never rush the cut.

If you break the blade, it is ok to leave the band saw unattended while you get the teacher.
