A number multiplied by a variable (in bold)  ex. 3x

Check off ALL the coefficients from the following expression $-5x^3+x^2–\ 3x$  Be careful with signs, remember that we think of all terms being separated by + signs.  So subtraction would mean the coefficient is really adding a negative. Coefficients may be assumed, but not be written!
