What is a category of literature that is characterized by a particular style, form or content called?

Books that are NOT TRUE and did not really happen. The author made up most of these stories and characters from his/her imagination.

Suspenseful story about a crime, secret or puzzling event that is not solved until the end. Usually keeps you on the edge of your seat; nail bitter!

Story that has elements that are not real such as talking animals or magical powers.

Stories that usually explains something about the world and involves gods and other superhuman beings.

Short stories with animal characters that act like humans. There is a lesson or moral to be learned from each story.

Stories where characters are make-believe. There may be magic. They often begin with "Once upon a time…" and end with “…and they lived happily ever after.” Usually involve good versus evil.
