Why is it important to understand our preferred support language?

Understanding how we like to give and receive support is important for building strong relationships with others. It can also save us time and energy if we know we like to be supported and how others prefer to receive support.

• If you chose mostly A’s, your support language is Receiving Gifts.

• If you chose mostly Bs, your support language is
  Acts of Service.

• If you chose mostly Cs, your support language is Quality Time.

• If you chose mostly Ds, your support language is Physical Touch.

• If you chose mostly Es, your support language is Words of Affirmation.
