Cover up “John and” and read

“___ went to the game.”

You would say:

So the correct sentence is:
John and I went to the game.

What do you do with harder sentence and another person is involved? You just cover up the the other name(s). Here's how:

Cover up “John and”:

“Give the Chromebook to ___.”


You would say:

So the correct sentence is:
