​Themes in "Midas Touch"

Greed vs Materialism

• Midas's insatiable desire for gold leads him to wish for the "golden touch," which initially seems like a blessing but quickly becomes a curse as it turns his food, family, and everything else into solid gold. 

• Consequences of Actions:

  .The story illustrates that every action, especially one driven by avarice, has consequences. Midas's wish has tragic and unforeseen results, highlighting that unchecked desires can lead to isolation and regret. 

• True Wealth vs. Material Wealth:
