Examples of Trends

• Male sheep have a consistently higher lean meat yield than female sheep across all body regions

• The hindquarters has the highest lean mean yield for both males and females

Patterns

A pattern is something that repeats or follows a predictable arrangement

• Patterns help you spot regular behaviour in data
  

Examples of Patterns

• In each part of the body male sheep produce more LMY

• Hindquarter has the highest LMY for both males and females

• Saddle has the lowest LMY

Relationships

A relationship is when two or more variables are connected

• When one thing changes, what happens to the other?

The relationship between sex (male or female) and LMY.
