Deduct a flat 5% of the total mark regardless of how late the submission is.

Automatically deduct 10% of the total assignment marks for each calendar day late (up to a maximum of 50%)

If submitted 1–2 days late: 5% deduction.

If submitted 3–5 days late: 15% deduction.

After 5 days late: 0 marks awarded.

Cap the maximum possible grade for late submissions at a passing mark (e.g., 50%).

Do not accept any late submissions regardless of the reason.
