-B.C.E. - Before Common Era

* Both of the above represent the same time period (9 B.C. = 9 B.C.E.)

-A.D. - Anno Domini (The year of the Lord)

-C.E. - Common Era

* Both of the above represent the same time period (9 A.D. - 9 C.E.)

- Circa - About or approximately. Close to the time but we are not sure of exact date

- Decade - 10 years

- Century - 100 years
