Inauguration Day is when the person elected to be president officially becomes president. It takes place every four years on January 20.

Who's the new President and Vice President
On January 20, 2021, the United States will have a new president and vice president. Joe Biden will be the new president and Kamala Harris will be the new vice president.

Where Does This Happen?
The Inauguration will take place at the US Capitol Building in Washington D.C.

What will they do?
They will take an oath of office. An oath of office is a promise to lead the country and to support and defend the Constitution. Then President Biden will give a speech about his goals for the country.
