Today's Activities

Working with your group, you will:

• Read the next section of chapter 7

• Summarize the reading

• Match up plot points between TGB and TJB

• Make comparisons between characters

• Make an inference about a character's actions

This activity will use everything from chapter 7 so far, including Monday's reading.

Activity 1:

Summarize

On the following two slides, put the events of today's reading in the correct order. Once you start each slide, you will have 5 minutes to complete the activity.

The activity is broken up into two sets (two slides with 5 summary points each)

Activity 2:

MATCHING

On the next slide, you will be asked to match 5 plot points from this chapter of TGB to some plot points in TJB. Pay attention, because once you start, you will have 15 minutes to finish the activity.

Activity 3:

Multiple Choice

The next three slides are multiple choice questions reviewing terms relating to our study of archetypes this unit. You have two minutes to answer each question, so pay attention and don't waste time!

Activity 4:

Character Comparison

On the following slide, match the characters from TGB with their archetypal counterparts from TJB. Once you go to the slide, you will have 10 minutes to complete the activity. ​
