Rafting is an adventure activity. And it has its origin in the fifties, in the United States and Europe. It is said that it began to be practiced because a group of explorers and fishermen were descending a river with small boats and rafts through the aquatic slopes. And little by little began to market more and more.

The first rafting expedition took place in the year one thousand eight hundred forty-two , when United States Army Lieutenant John Fremont made an expedition across the Platte River.
