​Universal Law: The Law of Relativity

​"This law suggest that we are inclined to compare things in our world, but in reality, everything is neutral. Relativism exist in all things, and in the end meaning comes down to our perspective and perception."

​Ex: For example, if we are feeling ungrateful for our living situation, it could be because we are comparing our living situation with someone else. It is better to appreciate what we have without needing to compare it to something or someone else.

​Objective: I can define, identify, and distinguish among four main noun groups.

​What is a Noun?

​Nouns are naming words- nouns name something like people, places, things and ideas.

​

​Ex:

​People: veterinarian, Dr. Robinson, Americans, & leader.

​Places: Lake Mead, classroom, kennel, & Bunker Hill

​Things: bumblebee, collar, motorcycle, & notebook.

​Ideas: strength, honesty, willingness, & obedience.

​Categories

​There are (3) categories of Nouns

​

1. ​Concrete & Abstract.

2. Collective Nouns.

3. Count & noncount Nouns.

​Concrete & abstract Nouns

​A Concrete Nouns are nouns that can be recognized through any of the five sense (Touch, taste, hear, smell, & see).

​

​ex: Pencil, Dog, tractor, & river

​

​Abstract Nouns are nouns that cannot be recognized through the sense.

​

​ex: courage, fun, honor, & exploration

​Collective Nouns

​Collective nouns names groups of people or things.

​

​Ex: Club, Troop, class, herd, orchestra, team & etc.

​Count & Noun Count Nouns

​Count Nouns name things that can be physically counted.

​

​Ex: orange, bench, & street.

​

​Non-Count Nouns names things that cannot be physically counted.

​

​

​Ex: thunder, rice, & grass
