Ignore the decimal
Multiply normal
place the decimal
*** If there are 3 numbers behind the decimal in the factors in total, then there will be 3 numbers behind the decimal in the product
EX: 3.56 x 1.2 would have three numbers after the decimal in the product

Dividing a Decimal

Bring decimal straight up to the quotient
Divide normal

Dividing BY a Decimal

Move decimal to right until the divisor is a whole
Do same thing to the dividend
