Fibres that are produced by plants, animals, and geological processes.
Natural fibers can also be matted into sheets to make paper or felt.
Fibres obtained from plants and animals that can be spun into filament, thread or rope are termed as ‘Natural fibres’. They may be woven, knitted, matted or bonded.
Eg :- Coir ,cotton ,silk ,wool ,etc

Man-made fibres
Man-made fibres are also known as synthetic fibres . .
Man-made or chemical fibers are fibers whose chemical composition, structure, and properties are significantly modified during the manufacturing process.
Man-made fibers consist of regenerated fibers and synthetic fibers.
Eg :- Nylon ,polyster ,etc
5
Wool
Wool is a natural fibre which is obtained from the fur of animals like sheep, goat, yak ,etc . These animals bear two types of hair – coarse hair and fine hair.
