A superlative adjective is an adjective used in comparisons to describe something as being of the highest degree or extreme. We use superlative adjectives when making comparisons of three or more people or things.
6
Proper Adjectives from Place Names (countries, continents, regions, cities)
7
A possessive adjective is an adjective that modifies a noun by identifying who has ownership or possession of it.
8
Demonstrative adjectives are special adjectives or determiners used to identify or express the relative position of a noun in time or space. A demonstrative adjective comes before all other adjectives in the noun phrase.
9
An interrogative adjective is an adjective that modifies a noun or pronoun in order to ask a question.
10
A compound adjective is formed when two or more adjectives are joined together to modify the same noun. These terms should be hyphenated to avoid confusion or ambiguity.
